Hello, my name is LaDonna Turpin. I am a Licensed Childcare Provider with the State of Ohio. I am also a Natural Helper mentor with Reclaiming Futures which is a department with Montgomery County Juvenile Court. I have been a Natural Helper since 2014 and have experienced many different families and children within this time. In this process I have met my mentee that I have been matched with for almost a year, she resides at Adrians Haven.
In my experience in dealing with staff and the group home for girls, I brag about cleanliness of the home and my interaction with the girls. Adrians Haven has a welcoming and exceptional environment. The girls have excellent manners and are respectful, they always have a greeting for me and a polite smile. I have also noticed Ms. Nicole's interaction with the girls. She is attentive but stern in a motherly way, her girls understand what they are supposed to do in the home. Although this is a group home for girls, I call it a home because it is their home, and I can tell they treat it as such.
It’s a beautiful, well maintained and clean home. I am very proud that I have a relationship with Ms. Nicole and Adrian's Haven, I know any young girl she comes in contact with will be treated professionally as well as with love and respect.

Adrian’s Haven is the newest Gem that has entered Dayton, Ohio and it is just what the city needed for adolescent girls who need a stable and nurturing home that will put them first during their transition. I was a guest speaker and facilitated a hair care class at Adrian’s Haven. Approaching the home, I was shocked that this beautiful home, in a well-kept neighborhood was a GROUP HOME! The inside of the home is just as beautiful. There were 4 teenage girls living in the home, they were very well mannered, and I can tell they were treated well by their appearance. The staff inside the home was very professional and attentive to the young ladies. After speaking with the girls, I learned that the home provides home cooked meals for them, holds them accountable for daily chores, assists with homework, teaches them life lessons, offers programs, and provides a stable and clean environment for them. They have what they need to excel and grow while staying at the Group Home. What stood out the most was the positive energy coming from the girls, they had a great spirit and looked like they were well taken care of. Adrian’s Haven is TOP TIER when it comes to group homes for young female adolescents and the program there seems to be built on integrity and respect! I wish them continued success as they uplift, encourage, and motivate the young girls who reside there

My name is Charlotte Glasper and I have worked in healthcare for 24 years. I have worked in multiple of well diverse facilities pertaining to healthcare. From Drug rehabilitation centers, group home type settings. As well as group homes for veterans here in Dayton. Now being here at ADRIANS HAVEN as one of the caregivers for the girls on all shifts, I can say that this is by far one of the most organized, well-run facilities I have ever worked for. I can honestly and truthfully say if my own family ever needed placement, this would be rated in the top 3 of suggested group homes to choose from. The care that Woodruff Corporation LLC. and staff pour into the kids is unmatched. For this group home you can tell it isn't about money. They care for the girls and their staff! I am not paid to write any of this, this stems from years of experience as well as proof here at Adrian’s Haven. They work tirelessly to make sure all needs (staff included) are met. I am grateful to be a part of such an Amazing Team, that is the true definition “THERE IS NO I IN TEAM”.
